There is a seemingly growing conventional wisdom that e-mail is dead.

Facebook recently announced that it is launching what it is calling a more holistic communications platform that will bring a person’s communications together in one place.

Many people have speculated that Facebook messaging just might be killer.

But does this new way of messaging mean the end of email all together?

Dave Worsell, director of government solutions at GovDelivery in the UK, says no.
