Too many passwords can lead to risky cyber behavior

Infosec Island reports that having too many passwords can lead to risky cyber behavior.

Agencies are asking their employees to remember more and more passwords, and they’re making those passwords more and more complex. But all of these requirements have made password management near-impossible.

Infosec Island reports that these demands usually lead to one of two results: Users will write down passwords or they will ignore the rules and reuse passwords between system. Both result in risky cyber behavior.

So what can you do? Cyber experts are working on new software to securely house all of your passwords. Encrypted systems like Password Safe and Secret Server are just a couple of the new tools that are now entering the market.
