Sammies nominee Fenella France is a preservation scientist in the preservation research and testing division of the Library of Congress.

Developing and using imaging techniques to find new information in our nation’s most important historical documents is no easy feat.

Fenella France is a preservation scientist in the preservation research and testing division of the Library of Congress. She managed to accomplish just that.

That accomplishment has made France a Service to America Medal finalist in the Science and Environment category.
