Nearly 275,000 female troops have been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan since 9-11. Women have served in transportation, logistics, police and engineering units. A recent Army report from the Women’s Health Task Force found that everything from ill-fitting body armor to a general lack of awareness of women’s health issues remain concerns for female troops.

It seems like there’s a small piece of news about cybersecurity legislation everyday. That’s probably because there are four bills currently inching their way through Congress. And if you’re finding it difficult to figure out which bill is which — don’t worry. A new report from the Bipartisan Policy Center says they’re kind of all the same.

The Veterans Retraining Assistance Program — or VRAP — has received a stunning 25,000 applications in only six weeks. But there’s still room left for even more veterans to sign up. The program will pay expenses for veterans between the ages of 35 and 60, who want more education in a “high-demand occupation.”
