A new State department partnership will reach out to Muslim communities with education, employment, skills training and economic development aid

The State Department is reaching out to Muslim communities throughout the world to help them with education, employment, skills training and economic development. But they’re not doing it alone. State is joining with a group called Partners for a New Beginning. It was all announced back in April by Secretary Hillary Clinton. Federal Drive spoke with Robert Lalka, the Global Partnerships Liaison in the secretary’s office, about how the Global Partnership Initiative will work.
