Can science agencies bounce back from sequestration?

President Obama’s 2015 budget request calls for more money for federal science agencies. The National Institutes of Health will receive a 1 percent increase and the National Science Foundation will receive a 3 percent bump if approved by Congress. But some critics say that’s not enough to help the science community bounce back to pre-sequester levels. Benjamin Corb, director of Public Affairs for the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, spoke with Tom Temin and Emily Kopp on The Federal Drive about why he believes the agencies deserve more.
