The Air Force\'s B-2 stealth bomber fleet is getting ready to go under the knife.

The Air Force’s B-2 stealth bomber fleet is getting ready to go under the knife, Defense Procurement News reports.

The 20 bombers have been in use since the 1980s, and the Air Force wants to start doing incremental upgrades. The initial contract to start making the improvements to the fleet has been awarded to Northrop Grumman and is valued to be more than $100 million. The upgrades are to reduce maintenance and improve readiness.
