Va. AG: Teachers can take phones if student breaking law

Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli says if a teacher has reasonable suspicion that a student is breaking state law or school rules with his cellphone, the teacher can confiscate it and look at stored messages.

'Sexting' students could be expelled in Frederick

The Gazette reports Frederick County Public Schools has added the term "sexting" to its rules and regulations regarding student behavior. Those who do it can be suspended or expelled, depending on the offense.
