Ten days after the robbery of the M&T Bank on West Seventh Street in Frederick, detectives are investigating possible links to a robbery Thursday afternoon at an M&T Bank in Mechanicsville, Va., Hanover County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Scott Cary said.

A man who walked with a limp robbed the PNC Bank at Md. 75 and Md. 26 in Libertytown on Friday afternoon, said Maryland State Police Detective Sgt. Wayne Wachsmuth.
The man who robbed a downtown Wachovia Bank branch Thursday is still at large, but if the case ends like most of the other bank robberies in Frederick County this year, he may not be for long.
A second man was arrested in connection with the Thursday afternoon armed robbery of the Chevy Chase Bank in the Frederick Shopping Center off West Seventh Street, according to the Frederick Police Department
The robbery happened at a TD bank in the 1700 block of Connecticut Avenue in Northwest around 7:45 p.m. on April 29.
Police busted the duo right after they allegedly robbed a credit union in Chantilly. It was a credit union that police were staking out at the time of the robbery.
