Air Force gives sex assault victims Ďa voice to their choice'

Lt. Col. Andrea deCamara, chief of the Air Force Legal Operations Agency's Special Victims Counsel Division, said victim empowerment is extremely important. "The conviction is not what we'd like to focus on for the victim; it's empowering the victim to be able to make informed choices," she told Federal News Radio's Agency of the Month radio show.

House budget targets federal benefits, seeks smaller civilian workforce

The Fiscal Year 2016 budget the House passed Wednesday calls on federal employees to make greater contributions to their retirement plans, while altering the Thrift Savings Plan's G Fund. The budget also seeks to reduce the civilian workforce by 10 percent over the next 10 years through attrition.
