Engraving and Printing reveals new $100 note
The $100 bill, the highest value denomination in general circulation, is the last bill to undergo an extensive redesign. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing began the process in 2003, adding splashes of color to spruce up first the $20 and then the $50, $10 and $5 bills. The $1 bill isn't getting a makeover. Larry Felix, Director of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, tells us about the new bill.

OMB's Werfel lays out new plan to follow agency money
Federal controller Danny Werfel to issue new guidance on measuring and fixing improper payments this week. OMB also is planning two pilot programs to improve how agencies receive and process vendor invoices, and to enhance intragovernmental transactions. Werfel also says the approach to financial management shared services is changing.
