The Presidential Innovation Fellows program will bring 15 experts into government to work on specific programs aimed at improving citizen-government interaction. According to Todd Park, federal chief technology officer, the administration has a certain kind of person in mind for the job openings. "What we are looking for are bad-ass innovators," he said.

Obama appoints Todd Park to federal CTO role
The White House announced today President Barack Obama will appoint Todd Park to serve as the next federal chief technology officer. Park most recently served at the CTO of the Health and Human Services Department and fills the slot vacated by Aneesh Chopra, who stepped down last month after three years in the position.
