Agencies must meet annual goals between 2013 and 2015 to enter data into the Past Performance Information Retrieval System. Joe Jordan, the administrator of the Office of Federal Procurement Policy, said inputting and referring to vendor performance information can reduce risks for agencies.

OFPP dispels 8 more agency, vendor communications myths

The administration will issued the Mythbusters 2 memo today. The document takes aim at commonly held misconceptions by vendors. It follows the initial Mythbusters memo issued in February 2011 focusing on agency-held fallacies.

OFPP readying round 2 of Mythbusters

Acting administrator Lesley Field said this version will focus on trying to dispel myths commonly held by industry. Agencies also posted their vendor communications plans on FedBizOpps.gov as part of the initial Mythbusters campaign.

OMB crowdsourcing improvements to Section 508

The administration released a set of high-level concepts from listening sessions conducted in 2011 and is asking for input from the agencies, contractors and the public. Interested parties can comment on 14 suggestions to improve how people with disabilities access government information.

OFPP again calls on Congress to cap vendor salary reimbursements

New memo from OMB is third in two weeks trying to change the acquisition environment. OFPP eventually wants agencies to submit data about non-IT projects in an Exhibit 53 style format. Agencies have six weeks to submit information on their top 10 construction projects.
