Security firm: New computer virus prowling Mideast

A new computer virus tied to some of the most sophisticated cyberweapons thus-far discovered has been found circulating in the Middle East, a Moscow-based computer security company said Thursday. If a link were confirmed, the find would expand the electronic arsenal reportedly deployed by the U.S. and Israel against their rivals in the region.

Malware disguised as security app poses threats to Androids

Kaspersky Labs spotted malware disguised as a fake security app called "Android Security Suite Premium," Computerworld reports. The malware is a threat to everyday smartphone users as well as businesses that allow employees to use personal devices on the network.
