OMB's tech changes start with new role for CIOs

The federal CIO Vivek Kundra will roll out specifics about the administration's plan to change the way agencies buy and manage technology. Pension, health care programs could be cut next

The Fiscal Commission issued its final set of recommendations detailing several that would affect federal employees.
