OMB wants to know how to improve Paperwork Reduction Act

A notice in the Federal Register asks for public comments on ways to reduce the information collection burden on the public. Administration will accept comments for 60 days. OMB will use the comments to inform its annual report to Congress on how agencies are implementing the PRA.

IRS keeps pipeline of qualified employees flowing with interns

Tax agency officials are not overly worried about potential retirement of large number of workers. IRS sees internship programs as one way to attract entry level workers. Students receive high impact assignments from senior agency officials to ensure they gain the experience and understanding of what the agency does.
