'Hooes' right in fight over road pronunciation?

The road in question is the Lorton area thoroughfare, Hooes Road, which runs between Route 7100 and Route 123. There are two trains of thought associated with the road. On one side are those that pronounce the name "whose" and on the other side there are those that pronounce the name "hose."
