Call made to open I-66 ramps all day

Working from home may soon be federal mandate

Rep. Gerry Connolly, D-Va., has sponsored a bill that would require all federal agencies to allow 20 percent of their employees to telework at least one day a week.

House passes bill to pay furloughed DoT workers

About 2,000 workers need back pay from the two days the agency didn't have funds. If the bill is not passed this week, those employees could see a 20 percent pay cut in their next paycheck.
