DoD to create map of defense industry

Rep. Lankford says training will ease acquisition workforce transition

The chairman of the Oversight and Government Reform subcommittee on Technology, Information Policy, Intergovernmental Relations and Procurement Reform said agencies need to do more to train new employees to make the best decisions. House to repeal law withholding contractors' taxes

The House is expected to approve a measure repealing a law that withholds 3 percent of government contractors' payments. The original law was enacted in 2006 to ensure contractors paid their taxes.
