In the past four years, the number of people going online to research prescription drug information has doubled to more than 102 million, according to a new study. The Cybercitizen Health study looked at how more than 8,000 Americans use technology for health information. E-health consumers are also using online patient communities, social networking and health 2.0 applications when faced with decisions about their health and prescription drugs, the study found.
