James Green is project officer of the Division of Safety Research at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He’s a finalist for a Service to America medal in the Citizen Services category. He created ten new safety standards for ambulances and tells Francis Rose on In Depth what inspired their creation.
