June 22, 2012 — This week on “Fed Access”, Fred Burton, vice president for Intelligence at STRATFOR, joins host Derrick Dortch to discuss what the U.S. is doing to secure its border with Mexico.

Burton will talk about the big border protection challenges facing U.S. officials, including those caused by the drug cartels in Mexico.

He will explain how drugs from Honduras, Guatemala, and Colombia are being smuggled through Mexico into the U.S.

Burton also will talk about the possible ties between the drug cartels and terrorist organizations.
