One gunman is reportedly in custody and another was on the loose at the military base, one of the largest military installations in the world. There could be a third shooter involved, according to some reports. An Army official confirmed the shooting, which occurred on the same day as a graduation ceremony at the base. But the official gave no details on the number of victims. Learn more here.

Law enforcement officials are now saying they doubt a Kentucky census worker -- found hanging from a tree with the word "fed" scrawled on his chest - was killed because of his government job. Instead, the officials say, investigators are increasingly exploring the possibility that 51-year-old Bill Sparkman committed suicide. Learn more here.

Now that it appears you can cash in your unused sick leave, what are you going to do with the money? You might be able to deposit the cash value in your TSP account. The IRS allows private sector workers to do that, but Congress will have to modify the Federal Employees Retirement System to do it. Colonial Williamsburg, Mount Vernon and Montpelier are among a group of Virginia destinations offering free admission to former and active-duty service members to honor them on Veterans Day. Virginia tourism officials say the former colonial capital as well as the estates of presidents George Washington and James Madison are among prominent sites and museums offering free admission to veterans and members of the Armed Forces. Hotels and other lodging businesses, as well as restaurants, are offering discounts.
