The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has teamed up with several tech companies on a big data project to establish five Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs). The goal is to migrate NOAA’s vast data reserves to the cloud and make that data more accessible to the public. Zach Goldstein is the chief information officer of NOAA.
