It can be difficult to come to terms with getting older. But imagine if you were the federal government and had to deal with the aging baby boomer population. How can the government keep health care costs down without sacrificing care as the population ages? The Senate Special Committee on Aging thinks Health IT is the answer. One study cited during a special hearing said remote monitoring of $200 billion over the next 25 years.
