A new interactive device could help patients and motivate them to get better – from their hospital beds. The PatientLife system uses a television attached to a patient’s bedside to deliver personalized health information, education and communication tools. The creators hope the device will improve the patient care by engaging people in their recuperation process. Hospitals with the device say it allows them to receive and respond to patient feedback in real time, so they can improve care and efficiency.
