Annual 5K kicks off Public Service Recognition Week

Hundreds turned out Sunday morning for the Public Service 5k Walk/Run.

Tom Temin, co-host of Federal News Radio's Federal Drive, took part in the annual Public Service 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, May 4, 2014, at Anacostia Park, in Washington, D.C.

The event kicked off the annual Public Service Recognition Week.

Temin won his age group (55-59) with a time of 24:33. The overall winner of the race was Matthew Matyjek of Arlington, Virginia, with a time of 17:09.
