Changes to some long-standing policies are possible now that the long-time director of the Congressional Research Service has announced he'll step down.
The DorobekINSIDER told you on Monday that CRS director Daniel Mulhollan announced he will retire in April. Mulhollan has held the post for 14 years, longer than anyone else.
Steven Aftergood, senior research analyst with the Federation of American Scientists, told the DorobekINSIDER that the change in leadership might encourage some lawmakers to re-think some of the policies Mulhollan had favored.
