The National Institute of Standards and Technology is getting new marching orders from the America COMPETES Act.
President Obama signed the bill into law Tuesday.
Patrick Gallagher, the director of NIST, told Federal News Radio's Jason Miller about how the provisions in the law will change the way NIST meets its mission.
