Stuxnet was a cybersecurity wake-up call

CNET reports cybersecurity experts are still confounded by the malware virus Stuxnet.

Security firm Symantec tells the Senate Congressional Committee that Stuxnet was a wake-up call for cybersecurity experts.

The malware was known for its complexity. Stuxnet is still a bit of a mystery with speculation that an Iranian uranium enrichment facility was a target.

CNET reports that the worm was the first known threat to spy on and reprogram industrial control systems and grant hackers control of critical infrastructure.
