New fixes plug Adobe Shockwave security holes

Krebs on Security reports that there are fixes to 11 security hole\'s in the Adobe Shockwave player.

Critical fixes are here for Adobe’s Shockwave, a player that allows users to view high performance multimedia, including 3D games, on a computer. The Shockwave patch plugs 11 security holes in the player. Attackers have used these holes to remotely take control over an infected system.

Krebs on Security reports Adobe is warning users that attackers are also targeting a previously unidentified security hole in its Acrobat and PDF Reader products. The Acrobat vulnerability could cause a crash and potentially allow an attacker to take control of the infected computer.
