Cyber Command up, but is it running?

Learn more in today\'s Cybersecurity update

The U.S. Cyber Command was supposed to be fully operational on October 1, but there were reports that the Defense Department missed that deadline.

No one’s saying for sure, but the Pentagon does say the Command won’t be fully operational until it’s able to accomplish its delegated tasks and missions.

Politico reports that some of the milestones required include ensuring there are enough personnel available and assigned to the command, as well as establishing an operation center.

Now the Cyber Command is open, and operating on a limited basis, but as one Pentagon official says, the Command is just not firing on all cylinders.
