Look before you Tweet, or even visit Twitter.com, today. Several new Internet worms are spreading quickly -- specifically through the Web site, Twitter.com. And it appears they can infect your computer whether or not you actually send a Tweet, or interact on the website.

Krebs On Security reports that the trouble started earlier today when several worms began quickly spreading through a vulnerability in Twitter. It uses a technique that actually moves your mouse on top of a malicious Tweet, and then resends the infected message on to all of your followers.

It's expected the problem will be resolved by the end of today. But if you really feel the need to Tweet, you'd be wise to use a Twitter client, or at least block Javascript on the site.
