  • The Office of Management and Budget wants your comments on new draft cybersecurity metrics that will make up the annual Federal Information Security Management Act report to Congress. The three sets of draft metrics, obtained by FederalNewsRadio, detail numerous questions for agency chief information officers, inspectors general and agency privacy officers. Agency technology officials will provide OMB with comments in the next few weeks. Then the administration will release updated metrics. One industry source tells FederalNewsRadio the changes should be significant, especially around getting rid of time-wasting elements and focusing on the automatable critical controls. Read more here.
