The Office of Personnel Management is pre-qualifying job candidates for some of the most common jobs in government by using new assessment tools.
The software is a mix of commercially and federally developed applications that replace the knowledge, skills and abilities, or KSA, essays.
Nancy Kichak is OPM's associate director for employee services and chief human capital officer. She tells our own Jason Miller how the assessment tools are the first of many changes to federal HR processes.
