The General Services Administration has a new Associate Administrator of the Office of Citizen Services and Communications. David McClure most recently served as the managing vice president for Gartner Inc.’s government research team. He also served on the Obama-Biden Transformation, Innovation, and Government Reform Transition Team. The U.S. Embassy is warning Americans in Kuwait to be vigilant against possible terror attacks after the arrest of people suspected of planning to attack a U.S. military camp there. The State Department warns on its Web site that there are indications that terrorist groups want to continue attacks against U.S. interests in the Middle East. Kuwaiti authorities have arrested six Muslim fundamentalists linked to al-Qaida who were planning to attack a major U.S. military camp and other targets.

Six more cases have been found of prostate cancer patients being given incorrect radiation doses at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Philadelphia. That brings the total to 98 veterans who were given incorrect radiation doses over a six-year period at the hospital. Most veterans got far less than the prescribed dose while others received too much. The newly reported cases have been forwarded to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission from The Department of Veterans Affairs.
