One of the big challenges agencies are facing is the creation of a new and improved financial regulatory system ,in the hopes that we can avoid the current economic situation from happening again. The Industry Advisory Council has been releasing a series of transition documents making recommendation on how information technology can help agencies work better. One of their latest one looks at IT and the construction of modernized financial regulatory system. The two authors of the report, Joe Inqui of Pragmatics and Brien Lorenze of BearingPoint, join us to discuss the report.
