Forensic science in the U.S. needs to be fixed, according to a recent report from the National Research Council, a group started by Congress in 2007 for the specific purpose of looking at domestic forensic practices. Constantine Gatsonis, professor of biostatistics and director of the Center for Statistical Sciences at Brown University, and one of the report’s authors joins us to talk more about it.
