The Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board has decided to stick with BlackRock Institutional Trust Company to manage the F Fund, which invests in government-backed bonds.

BlackRock also currently manages the other funds in the Thrift Savings Plan.

Kim Weaver, the board's director of external affairs, joins In Depth to discuss the news.
