Cyber crime can cost more than $1 trillion every year. Even the National Security Agency director and head of U.S. Cyber Command, Gen. Keith Alexander, mentioned this estimate at an event with the American Enterprise Institute.

But some say the $1 trillion number doesn’t quite add up. Peter Maas, a reporter for ProPublica, authored a report closely analyzing the estimated costs of cyber crimes.

Vice Adm. Norbert RyanPresident and CEO, Military Officers Association of America

The Pentagon and the Veterans Affairs Department have a variety of services for wounded warriors and their families. The Military Officers Association of America and the National Defense Industrial Association will take a look at those services and how to expand and improve them at an event Thursday.

Vice Adm. Norbert Ryan, the president and CEO of the MOAA, joins In Depth to discuss the 2012 Warrior-Family Symposium. Among the speakers will be VA Secretary Eric Shinseki and Rep. Jeff Miller (R-Ala.), the chairman of the House Veterans Affairs Committee.
