Here are today\'s newscast stories

  • Government officials are trying to decide if federal government security was comprised by Google Hackers. Google says Chinese hackers attempted to take over e-mail accounts of senior U.S. officials and hundreds of other prominent people. The Department of Homeland security says they are working with Google to investigate the attacks.
  • Veterans are getting some new help from the Labor department. The Labor Department is providing $37 million in job training grants for veterans. The grants will go to about 21,000 veterans.
  • John James is the new Missile Defense Agency executive director. James started this position on May 23. Before joining the MDA James was transition director at the National Security Personnel System.
