These are the stories Federal News Radio reporters are working on today.

Federal human resource workers can find about 40 different training courses on the new HR University portal. And more are on the way. The Chief Human Capital Officer’s Council officially launched Phase two of the one-stop shop for agency human resources workers to find information on career development and training courses. Federal News Radio’s Jason Miller tells us how this new portal is just the beginning step to professionalize the federal HR workforce.
After almost ten years of development, the agency responsible for the huge task of buying most of the military’s goods is starting to roll out a new end-to-end system for writing and managing contracts. Federal News Radio’s Jared Serbu has the story.
