The federal government is helping vendors that want to grab part of the billions of dollars it's spending on health IT.
The National Institute of Standards and Technology and the Department of Health and Human Services are hosting a workshop next month for labs that want to test the technology.
Dana Leaman is a program manager at the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program, a part of NIST.
