General Support for Inspectors General

Operations in the offices of Inspectors General all over the government are about to change. With the signing of the “Inspectors General Reform Act of 2008,” each IG will, among other provisions, be required to set up a web site independent of his or her agency’s site. IGs will also join together to form a Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency. Former CIA Inspector General Fred Hitz talked about the plusses and minuses of the new law.

Who’s Doing What January 21st?

An “Insider’s View” of the Defense Contracting World

He’s been on every side of Defense acquisitions–policy development at the Pentagon, procurement of aviation programs for the Army, lobbying for programs on Capital Hill on behalf of companies, and even end use, as a graduate of West Point.
