To hear Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) tell it, the Internal Revenue Service received complaints from hundreds of corporate whistleblowers whose companies were evading millions in taxes. And yet, he said, the IRS was slow to jump on this important source of revenue. Grassley was irked when he found out people from the IRS whistleblower office attended a conference concerned with offshore finance. Grassley told us about his beef with the IRS.
