Time running out to fix GI Bill payments

Lawmakers continue to work on legislation that will guarantee veterans attending private colleges will have the same tuition payouts until they graduate.

The clock is ticking.

Lawmakers continue to work on legislation that will guarantee veterans attending private colleges will have the same tuition payouts until they graduate. But, it could be weeks or more before the House and Senate reconcile their differences and pass the legislation, causing potential problems for students heading back to school at the end of the summer.
