FBI helped by Estonia with cyber sleuthing

Estonia is sharing its cyber defense know-how with the FBI.

The FBI, admittedly, has some ground to make up where it comes to cyber investigation skills, but sometimes, cybersecurity makes strange bedfellows. Like, say, the United State and Estonia. NextGov reports, the former Soviet republic has grown so skilled at taking down international cybercriminal networks, it’s sharing know-how with the FBI. The country’s president says FBI is establishing what he calls a representation unit in Estonia. That development is confirmed by an FBI spokesman. Estonia is also sharing its expertise with law enforcement agencies in NATO ally countries.
