General Dynamics has landed a nearly-$18-million contract with the Navy. The company’s Advanced Information Systems unit will deliver mission computers for the F/A-18F and E/A-18G Super Hornet aircraft, according to a press release. The “advanced mission computer”‘ provides flight crews with situational awareness and full control of combat systems. It performs general-purpose, input/output, video, voice and graphics processing and processes high-speed data.
