U.S. forces repositioned near Libya

The U.S. military is moving naval and air forces into position around Libya as Western countries weigh possible intervention against Moammar Gadhafi\'s regime.

The U.S. military is repositioning naval and air forces around the nation of Libya. The Pentagon says Western nations are weighing a possible intervention to prevent Libyan president Moammar Gadafi from killing his own people. Defense News reports, a Pentagon spokesperson says the move gives President Obama a range of options in a crisis. NATO allies are considering setting up a no-fly zone over Libya. They may also create what they call a humanitarian corridor in neighboring Tunisia or Egyot to help refugees.
