At HUD, the housing collapse caused the Federal Housing Administration to take over a lot of the housing loan market. As CFO of Housing and Urban Development, Doug Criscitello's concern is the $1.4 trillion in loans the government has outstanding -- the most of any agency. He tells Federal News Radio, broadcasting live from Association of Government Accountants National Leadership Conference, how much harder he realizes the CFO job is, compared to how it looked from his earlier jobs at OMB and CBO. And, like HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan, Criscitello worked in in New York City government.
